We collect minimal data necessary to operate our services:

• Device ID — A SHA-256 hashed version of your device hostname, used solely for license validation. We do not store your actual hostname.
• IP Address — Collected during license validation requests and download tracking.
• Email Address — Only if provided during license purchase.
• Download Statistics — IP address, user agent, and country associated with download requests.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

We respect your privacy. BluePad does NOT collect:

• File contents or documents you create or edit
• Browsing history
• Personal documents
• Keystrokes or typing patterns

3. How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used for:

• License validation and activation management
• Download tracking and analytics
• Customer support (if you contact us)

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Cloudflare — Hosting, CDN, and download delivery infrastructure.
• Stripe — Payment processing (future implementation). Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data.

5. Data Retention

• License records — Retained while your account is active.
• Download logs — Retained for 1 year, then automatically deleted.

7. Cookies & Local Storage

BluePad does not use cookies. The desktop application uses localStorage only for storing your app preferences (theme, language, window state). No tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies are used.

8. Children's Privacy

BluePad is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of BluePad after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
